During the coronavirus outbreak, most of our Teammates in our plants and offices were temporarily unemployed (furloughed) or were working from home. Each day, a skeleton crew remained on site. The whole period was strange, scary and uncertain. Time flew by, days rolled into each other. We knew that we had to do everything possible to ensure that there was a business to come back to when the lockdown was over.

Everyone worked tirelessly to ensure that the plant and all the offices were Covid-19 secure. At the same time, we never stopped supplying Etex customers with the products they needed, and supported the UK National Health Service by providing materials to build temporary hospitals. Looking back on that couple of months, I feel really proud of how we handled the situation as a team.
