CSR criteria

CSR criteria
To keep corporate social responsibility and sustainability high on the agenda, the board of directors of Etex includes a CSR committee. This committee will issue proposals and recommendations to the executive committee, enabling Etex to contribute to a better world by offering affordable and sustainable lightweight solutions. One such initiative is the Green Team: 30 Etex experts reporting on key sustainability issues, including optimising water, energy and materials expenditure and reducing emissions, waste and effluents.
ESG risk rating

ESG risk rating
The ESG risk rating scores companies on environmental, social and governance parameters. Sustainalytics, an external rating agency, assessed Etex’s sustainability track record in 2019, assigning us a low risk score of 19.9 on a scale of 1 (negligible risk) to 100 (severe risk). Out of 118 building products companies, Etex ranked 9th worldwide.
Joining UN Global Compact

Joining UN Global Compact
We joined the UN Global Compact in January 2020. This is a joint initiative of companies, UN agencies and groups representing labour interests and civil society worldwide. Etex is a group with legal entities and production sites all over the world, that are a part of the local markets, with local employees. We commit to the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact, which cover: human rights, fair labour practices, environmental protection and anti-corruption. At Etex, we believe these principles are essential for a company managed with a long-term perspective. Etex strives for fair tax payment in all countries we are active in.
